Saturday 30th, University of Huddersfield; ‘Sound, Craft, Vision and Place’, community heritage initiative being run by University of Huddersfield and Heritage Lottery Fund; BH displaying banners and memorabilia and talking about heritage project and sport in the academic curriculum; DT talking about using the Rugby League Archive

Wednesday 22nd: BH meeting Jenny Salton at Tolson Museum to discuss next year’s exhibition and exhibition launch arrangements
Wednesday 22nd: BH and DG meeting Code Blue to design two project banners
August, date to be arranged: BH to meet Martin Gonzales and two of his Kirklees colleagues to discuss World Cup Trophy Tour launch and World Cup International Conference
Friday 31st : BH and KG visit to Carlisle with Catherine Boak to interview Bill Boak

September 6th, 10th: two Archive Training days with West Yorkshire Archive Service
Week beginning 10th: BH and Steve Kelly (Vox Pops) to meet Rachel Brennan (teacher at Scholes Junior School) to discuss oral history training schools writing and art competitions children’s drama as part of Rugby League World Cup 2013 Trophy Tour Launch
Monday 17th : West Yorkshire Archive Service Community Archive Conference
Wednesday 19th: Heritage Project Steering Group Meeting at The Zone
September, date to be arranged: York World War I trail launch
Thursday 20th: National Football Museum, Manchester; heritage project to display banners and memorabilia at Sports Heritage Network Symposium
Monday 24th : Underbank ARLFC AGM - DG talking about project’s oral interviewing, memorabilia collections and exhibitions, collecting names and addresses
Tuesday 25th , invitation to interview Graham Buckley at his home in Meltham (ex-Emley, Milnsbridge and Paddock ARLFCs, and the Giants’ mascot), and to scan/catalogue his memorabilia which includes old shirts, scrap books and photos (BH and TJ to attend)

October

Monday 8th, 1.00pm till 4.30pm, for our first cataloging and scanning session.
Tuesday 9th , 1.30 - 5pm World Cup Trophy Tour launch from George Hotel, unveiling of  George Hotel plaque and ‘The Birth of Rugby League’ vignette by Y5 & Y6 children from Scholes J & I School
Wednesday 10th, Scholes J & I School first oral history training session
Wednesday 17th, 10am BH and DT meeting at Tolson Museum to discuss technical side of display and to view museum’s rugby league collection
